Should guest be turned off???

I know its up to Niko in the end, but this spam is rather annoying, and rather obscene (like my posts some of the time

)...

It's nice to be able to post without logging in...but I'm going to have to say disable guest. Furthermore, maybe consider blocking all IPs that are associated with the posts. Alternatively, I did like the idea someone mentioned about requiring random text being entered in order to have the message posted.

lol, it's probably some pay-to-use 3D engine that's trying to slow down or even halt Irrlicht's development.

Hey, some people like me have a registration alergy, besides, even If you'd disable guest account, what would stop spammers from creating an account and start spamming????
If the concern is bot-posting/auto-posting (dunno if its the case here), then you could just add some kinda anti-bot method like a random image (or text, but this would be easy to hack) in order to post

I still really like the guest option

Lets give it a chance, at least for one week. After the hack, I turned anti-spam-bot plugin a little bit more aggressive, and I've still one more mod to try out if it still doesn't help.

i agree, the option should be kept (tho i hate the spammers too) the guest option is a good way for other people to just try out the engine.

I agree with niko and further more guest is a MUST HAVE OPTION.

let me explain.. guest allows anonymity.. in the real world for the sake of good people anonymity is essential...did you people learn nothing in school? how about on the street?

point is this.. unless it's a major security hole..it has to stay.. but it should be reworked.

You make the next move..wiether you post here..or e-mail me... if the hacker problem gets out of control which it already has before you go taking the forums down please contact me I WILL solve this problem for you or die trying.

If I have to custom build a forum for you that can not be hacked or spammed and I will. when I read that you had been hacked for the 3rd time from some noob ass 7331 h4x0r fag it pissed me off so bad my face turned blue.
