Oh, and the explanation of the fact is clearly in the news section :
"7/8/2005:
Awakening 0.15 Release!
Awakening is a powerful professional real-time 3D solution. With it, you can easily creating eye-catching interactive 3D presentations and virtual worlds quickly.
7/8/2005:
Light Map Maker 0.36 Release! It's free!"
...playing avidly with it now...lol, I have Giles, but was allways a lost freak bout freebies...
is not an easy UI, but I'm finding the way in minutes...probably as have handled much harder things like FSRAD, what can be more complex....

Can anyone talk to how to use the lightmap produced by lmmaker in Irrlicht?
As far as I can tell, one would have to write a loader like OCT tools or the LmTools loader that takes information from the uv of the texture and the light map and combines them on a per polygon basis.
I know vermeer was working with MIM, but I thinks that was what MIM was doing: setting things up for fusing the two textures together at run time.
Am I missing something? Is there a simpler way? If not, I'm going to try an irrlicht meshloader based on the lmmaker text file export format.

Also, remember Afecelis mirrored the file I had of Murphy's latest betatest MIM, as hi smachine got problems and seems is the only version available.

Electron pointed that OCT tool version is one more recent at Murphy's site, but of MIM that's the latest you can get (not bad, as here it works perfect)
For this lightmapper, is ideal MIM format, also it's imho better than oct, as does consider curved surfaces for lightmapping! besides it can do radiosity lightmaps, or...really quick non radiosity ones, depend on ur needs.
So, grab that file above and read well all the TXTs.
