new, finished game ( Hells Bells )
new, finished game ( Hells Bells )
And finaly i finished my game. It took me long, but its worth it. Hells bells is a 2d game where you fly zeppelin and avoid lines trough levels( zeppelin is 3d model ). The game mostly shows 2d && GUI aspect of engine. I coded level editor ( offcourse in Irrlicht GUI ) and it looks fine i gues.
Also i done all music and sound stuff using FMod.
Source is available, but i don't reccomend it...

it made my system go nuts, freeze and finally reboot. And I must say my pc runs anything I throw at it with no probs. Weird. Perhaps a code bug? Or prolly a renderer incompatibility (driver).
posting the code for ppl to check it will help you optimize it.

I'm with afecelis.
It sent my system going nuts. I couldn't even give it the 3 finger salute to kill it. I had to shut down, and restart.
It looks great tho. I'd like to see the code.

If it exists in the real world, it can be created in 3d

Died on my system also just closed itself.
It had what was either a very wild bug or some type of special effect my system can't handle.
I'd also like to see the source if only to check the game out.
Whats with everyone going closed source?
Editors are cool definatly even if it is closed source some way to edit is nessesary I wouldn't fear degrading your project by making it open source either most people are too dumb or lazy even to read it let alone the fact that everyone that does know something is usually extreamly busy with something of there own. heh let the sentence run on see if i care.
I have a lot to say about this starting with sweet.
But no time I must go now bye.

runs at over 550-600fps here on my system (athlon xp 3200, fx5200xt)
Can anyone beat 12.8 seconds on level 1?
The bug seems to be in the main menu I got 500-600fps with a 2.4 pentium 4, 64mb g-force ti 200.
Got to the end of level one crashed and decided I was done lol
