error while linking with irrlicht 0.12.0

error while linking with irrlicht 0.12.0

i have a project that was compiling well with irrlicht 0.10.0 but when i updated to 0.12.0 i get those link errors
/usr/X11R6/lib/libIrrlicht.a(COpenGLTexture.o)(.text+0x616): In function `irr::video::COpenGLTexture::copyTexture()':
: undefined reference to `gluBuild2DMipmaps'
/usr/X11R6/lib/libIrrlicht.a(COpenGLTexture.o)(.text+0x625): In function `irr::video::COpenGLTexture::copyTexture()':
: undefined reference to `gluErrorString'
i'm using gentoo if that can help

Dont know if this can help u, but u had no reply so it cant harm..
ur 'project file' (DEV, dunno name in VS..) must be changed to link to the 0.12 lib folder and the only '*.a' file used -eg libIrrlicht.a, whereas 0.10 used 2 *.a files
-erase those form the projrct.
-add the libIrrlicht.a to the project
eg (in DEV):
project|project options | paramerters /../ur path/..libIrrlicht.a
-of cause u need to replace the 0.10 dll with the 0.12 dll to..

ermmm .... i'm using linux
and have only irrlicht 0.12.0 installed now

Those files may have changed. Take a look at the api to make sure.
If it exists in the real world, it can be created in 3d

Sys specs:
AMD 3700+ 64 processor
1.0 gb ram
e-Geforce 6600 graphics 256 mb onboard ram
