That's why GFXstyLER.ps. Don't use the bin version, it won't load all the cool stuff it has; compile your own from scratch; make sure to follow the readmes included for such task.

a package for your distro would be different from downloading the bin version at the scintilla site. A package will either install the required libs during the install process or warn you about missing libs on your system; in which case you'll have to download and compile them yourself or find another package with the libs prior to installing scite. SoGFX is right; you may find an rpm package or emerge it in Gentoo and it will install properly as well.
The problem with the bin version at scintilla's site is that if you haven't got the libs then syntax highlighting won't work; if you select the "language"menu:

good news!
@Irrlicht_rocks:
I found a tut for Codeblocks on how to create an RPM package on their forums so I built one that works for Suse but might work on other RPM poackage distros. Perhaps you may want to give it a try.
http://www.danielpatton.com/afecelis/Co ... s.i586.rpm
Since I work in windows with this IDE I was very familiar with it. Another good news is that it comes with an Irrlicht template; my only suggestion would be first to compile Irrlicht in a terminal using the provided make file; and when creating projects with the template replace the include and lib folders' path to your local install of Irrlicht.
hope it helps!

Maybe he'll include right after the clause banning people that cannot write correct English and use funny german idioms in the same postingAnonymous wrote: Why niko did not include the forum use agreement, that the people under 13 shouldn't use it? It is beacause GFXstyler geht ziemlich allen auf den sack.
I read the initial post of this thread, too, and immediately skipped it since I did not want to hold this noob's hand with his first steps in Linux. What the hell do these posts show up on a 3D engine forum? At least GFX' second posting should help everyone to find some useful infomation. It's really a pity that people first beg for help and only after that (if ever) start to think on their own, you know.
