loading .3ds model and everything crashes...

loading .3ds model and everything crashes...

Hello,

everytime, when i load a .3ds model, the whole application crashes. I Exported the 3ds max model from DeepExploration. I load the model with getMesh and addAnimatedSceneNode. Does somebody know a solution?

Did you check to see if the model actually loaded? I don't know what could be wrong if so, but something might be wrong with the exporter, but don't hole me on that.

Maybe is too complex. try to open a simple model like a box to see if that is the porblem.

even if i try to open a box, it doesn´t work. When i try to open something else, e.g. a md2 model, everything works correctly...

hmmm... try to load a model not exported form DeepExploration

Try www.turbosquid.com - click to search for 3ds models, click advance searcher and type on max price 0$. Download a model, load it and if it works your exporter is not compatible.

that doesn´t work, too...It must be another problem, but if i load an md2 model, everything works...why is that so? :?:

now, i used a model from 3dcafe.com which is a 3ds file, too and this works correctly...it seems, like that the problm is the exporter...thank you for your help!...
