Which compiler?

Don't know, but except for very few situations where cross compiling is useful (e.g. embedded systems) it is usually no good idea. It is just too much work to get it up and running. You don't just need the compiler, but all tools to work with object files of the target platform.

Aukecomps - your intelligence is apalling. And don't insult Java, its not the slow bum it used to be. And the microsoft free compiler works great for me, my guess is you just don't know how to use it. Read a tutorial or something. In fact, read anything. You need it.

i just found irrlicht 2 days ago as a dev pack and thort it looked really good but its better than i thort.

i havent hand any problems with this so far ... download dev c++ and install it then look for the irrlicht dev pack in the 3d graphics section. it will automaticly install it self and all you will need to do after it is installed is go new project and click on irrlcht and then ok and it should work fine.
