Game Content. Where To Get?
Game Content. Where To Get?
I have recently discovered that both the Flu and my Algebra teacher have exact the same effect on my health: it quickly degrades.
Try turbosquid.com. While most the of resources there must be bought for money, there is a decent amount of free models as well.
Textures can be found at texturebin.com. The textures there come in different qualities. If you need bumpmaps you usually need to purchase a premium account there, but the overall quality of the free textures is good enough for a hobbyist. If you have trouble logging in after creating an account there, try entering your email instead of username in the login box (worked for me).
Psionic's 3D game resources has some good stuff as well.

Hi There,
We have been working on a library of environment models that are free for indie game developers to use. Here is a sample of content from a pack we are getting close to finishing up.

These files are free for you to use in your game as long as you follow the simple rules of the Creative Commons Attribution license included in the downloadable file, which you can find in the sidebar on our main page. The work-in-progress files that we have been releasing during development are all in Blenber format, but the ones we have completed are also available in .obj and .3ds formats, which should be easy enough to load into the engine or into most 3D programs for conversion or modification.
Stay free.
Scott
