To Forum Admins: plz fix it!

No, I don't think so. Remembering some threads about '"My compiler won't run." "Try running it as root" ' there were much more people using Debian or RedHat with this attitude

sf have scripts to protect themselves from daft admins like myself setting public write access to their precious web servers, they go through every few hours and reset the permissions

I don't use Suse, even I don't use Linux;)
My server has run debian woody. But images-folder in forums usually need chmod 777 to write the imagefiles in there.
