Also, could I texture the map inside blender with uvmapping and texturing etc... Not procedural... Obviously that would not work.
Deled was what stuck in my mind for a while. I like it. But for what I have in mind it just won't do. It creates everything too square, and I am going for a smooth feel to the map...
Are there any in depth tutorials on doing maps for irrlicht with blender?
Load a deled-generated map into anim8or, and subdivide it a little. It'll smooth it out. BTW, I agree, it's hard to create smooth looking maps in Deled.
