More VideoCard Upgrades Discussion...

Post by RustyNail »

 As some of you would know, A while ago, (quite a while, actually...) I have asked about Videocards and upgrading GeForce 2 MX/MX 400... Since then I have ordered one, had newegg have problems, getting the order canceled, and then some doubts came over me...
Let me restate the question asked before:
What videocard would you recommend to replace my GeForce 2 MX/MX 400 on my P4TPT mobo? I have had doubts about the one recommended being compatible with my motherboard since BioStar does not post the full specs on their site and I have not been able to find them anywhere else...
Also... I am still having problems with programming & compiling things on my Win2K computer... With Borland Commandline tools, VCtoolkit2003, VCExpress2005... I don't get it... is this a problem with Win2K and Code::Blocks or Code::Blocks and NOD32 or something else?

I would recommend the 7600GT. I have bought it and runs pretty good; it's my last agp upgrade.

Mine is the leadtek one: (200€)

But would be nice if you could tell us about how much money you want to spend and also more detailed pc specs (micro/ram/psu).
