@cobra:
absolute right, there is no ground-breaking technique showing, but I do appreciate good artwork passing by occasionally. So the rating is for artwork only.

My lighting manager, done during last summer vacacion.
I've also done dual paraboloid shadow mapping and antialiasing with edges detection but I'm still working on it, particularly to get colored shadows and a better antialiasing quality.

Nice video Escen, I feel like playing it
I think the physics need a tiny bit more bounce on the tyres, or perhaps the terrain is a tad too smooth and could use some noisy potholes and dents scattered around randomly

@stefbuet nice demo! high quality light/shadow system you got there. but the motion blur is a little odd though. shouldn't be that blurred with just little motion. will feel dizzy.

I know it's not gameplay, but I have been working on a particle engine for my game Magnon-Racer and created a little scene that fits the date ;)

Everything is configured before the programm's mainloop, after that I only use the update and render functions of the system.
I am still busy implementing affectors and different emitters, once that is done I will show more effects.

greetings

For some reason my video is really popular in Namibia :shock:. Youtube stats say 100% males in the 18-34 age range, i guess there are no female graphics programmers XD

Ok...? In Namibia? I watched your video but there's hardly anyone else around here I know that's into graphics. So I'm not alone! :D

I notes that too on my videos... conclusion: if Namibia is to bright ACE247 did not watched it.
So.. Go for it, your have your own region, make them all dark.

EDIT:
I think we can use this colour as a reverence and call it the 'ACE curious indication' or ACI. It's a must have :wink:
