VC++ 8 Express help needed.

I seem to have messed up my include directories.

Seems before I had a few libraires that were being included (not in an IRR project) that had the same name for a funciton or class, and they were clashing. While trying to remove some directories to solve this probelm I got a new problem.

Project : error PRJ0002 : Error result -1073741515 returned from 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\bin\cl.exe'.

I've looked up the error, but the help menu couldn't help me much, but since I know it came from removing the directories that is what i need to set back.

I've tried to reinstall, compley remove and then install VC++ 8 but it kept the old direcotires.

Can someone tell me the default direcotries for VC++ 8?

did you install the Platform SDK as well?

You need to add the "include" and "lib" folders of it as well. And you need the directx sdk, also "include" and "lib" folders.

check these screens, change your paths accordingly:

they are for Codeblocks and MSVC toolkit 2003, but they're the same for MSVC8 (just exclude the MSVC directory)
