Witch

Post by Nick_Japan »

Heya all,

I've just finished and uploaded a feature- and content-complete version of Witch. The main addition is a whole new gametype, Cauldron Cooking Contest, where you have to collect ingredients and get them back to your cauldron safely!

Some screenshots to tempt you into a pointy hat:

Of course, any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated!

Looks cool, though i wasn't sure on the rules of the cooking pot one, maybe reading the manual would be a good idea!

It's fun to play, but I didn't understood the rules either  !

Some cool sound effects would be nice.

Haha! Yeah - one of the things on my to-do list actually was to have a box on the main menu screen with a brief explanation of the rules, which changes when you click on the gametype button. I didn't get around to it before, but it seems that it would be a bigger improvement than I thought. Some might turn around and say RTFM, but actually that's kind of a pain in the arse isn't it?

Download the game -> unzip -> Run it -> What the hell do I do? -> Poke around in the directory -> Find manual.html -> Stupid IE opens it over the webpage you were looking at -> Read it -> Ah! -> Run the game again

Particularly seeing as you guys are essentially doing my a favour by downloading it and trying it out. OK, I'll add that very soon - there's a lesson here, methinks.

Thanks all! I'll post again when it's fixed
