Reisender

I thought I'd share a few screenshots of what I've been working on. I call it Reisender which I think is German for "Traveller". I'm using this to become familiar with 3d technology while applying some of the math and concepts that I'm learning about physics in school. Currently there is no plan to make a "game" but I will release the source after I clean it up a bit. I'll probably release the source and some binaries this week.

Hehe, looks similar to what Galactic Racer will be. (the space ship and planets...) :wink:

Wow. Nice terrain model (on the recent screenshot). Did you make that? If not, where can I get the model from? If you did make it, what software are you using?

Nice shot, the fog seems to be useful. :)

The terrain was created using scenemanager->addTerrainMesh().
Heightmap was created in Gimp.

Terrain Texture was created using TerrTexGen 1.5.
