Whats your preferred libs for networking? Should I just write my own winsock sort of thing? :D Preferences would be great so I could have somewhere to start.

Raknet seems to be the favorite one around here. Some users have already posted basic examples using it

I've tried using RakNet before and just to make sure it wasn't my code I went and completely linked up, included, and compiled on of their test programs and still got all kinds of errors. They didn't help me on the forums there either.

So...anything but RakNet but thanks for the quick answer ;)

You might check out the wiki. It has a decent list of network APIs.

Works equally poorly on all systems.

;) I figured out my problem with RakNet was that I wasn't linking winsock

I'm using that now, thanks for all the suggestions.
