Post by xteraco »

is there any good engines for a coding novice? i found jolt3d to be quite easy to use, but i wanna see what my options are, also wondering if 3impact would be a bad bet

don't tell a newbie something like that. it's easier to first learn a little c++ and then use irrlicht.

if you start with irrlicht at the beginning it is a lot more frustrating and a higher learning curve, which will turn some newbies off and they just give up.

on the other hand ... less competition :D

hurt tho
