Stay with Irrlicht!!!

Post by sorcerer »

Did you ever hear about BV engine?
Just a few things about it:

There is no update for almost one year, and people have their games stopped with nasty bugs. The developers doesn't help on the foruns anymore. They almost don't even post anything! The documents doesn't help much! And now they are even deleting from their foruns all threads where there are complains about the problems.

Just say no!!! Stay with Irrlicht!!! Don't make the same mistake I did!

I always knew that Irrlicht is the best :)
P.S.: This is kind of flood-topic, but the name of the topic is ok :)

I think it's more a spam-bot
May be a kind of advertisement for BV engine ?

Funny how ogre users should stay with "Ogree". Yup, that's what was posted. Either it's an advertisement with reverse-psycology or it's a user trying to start a boycott.

Spam! :(
Rather than delete it, i'll simply expose the poster's ip address: 77.54.35.138.
That'll teach em not to abuse our forums.

no, hes not a spambot, he used to be an active 3d game studio user, that switched to BV. He used to always tell us how great it was, and he just made that same post on the 3dgs forum, an apparently a whole bunch of people agreed with him. I do think that it was a bit rude to not wait for a reply from someone just warning people, to show his ip address, especially when it was a topic in a completely relevant part of the forum.

Well I guess it could be some sort of spam, but it is still odd.
