Post by dejai »

I was thinking the Following

Graphics API: Irrlicht ( obviously...)
Sound Engine: irrklang
Physics: Physx I am not really sure..
Video: Magic Library

Do I need anything else.

I guess it depends entirely on what you want to do. If you're not very adept at AI then you may need an AI engine of sorts, can't recall any of their names now but i do all my own AI anyway.

like JP said, it depends what type of game you are / will be developing.
How about a Networking library / feature? There are quite a few good ones available...
