It's out when it's out, I guess. You can grab the 1.4alpha from the svn.

Edit: Don't know where i got alpha from, but it says 1.4 in the changes.txt. FYI.

It says alpha upon start. And yeah, it's finished when it's done, or vice versa. Everyone can report bugs of the latest SVN versions to speed up this process.

Just for clarification, what do you mean by SVN version, isn't that the same version like in here - http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/downloads.html ?

No, that's SDK. SVN has just by chance the same initial letter.
Look here: http://sourceforge.net/svn/?group_id=74339

Cool, I found a lot of information that saved me more then few questions but there is just one thing I didn't fully understand - If I install the SVN software, can I download with it the latest Irrlicht SVN version ? (with the Revision number, yeah..?)

Yes. If you use windows, best client to use is TortoiseSVN. http://tortoisesvn.net/
TortoiseSVN alone suffices, you don't need the official client then.

The beat has been out for quite some time. I was just wondering how long it will be before the full 1.4 is released.
