hmm...could u test if bones and weights do get exported...
it'd be good to know , indeed....
I have some serious doubts.
Because I tend to think the animation supported is object animations. Yep, keyframed and all, but no bones, nor weights. So, not much useful for characters, code, memory saving...(as the option would be a type of md2 buty in x, using mesh interpolation, can't be for hi res models today, to much memory, and no access to bones in code in the future versions of irrlicth...)
If it does support bones and weights export, then great, and good to know..yet though, I've been following many threads, and also at the gmax support page, seems discreet never ends to allow this...of making exports fo rother than the games which gamepaks are for. Legal issues I mean.
My whole point is...while is cool to have a tool for free projects, is cool to have allways the possibility of making some small comercial project.
That's why though I was aware of this FS path, I finally went for Blender ingoing x exporter.
But yep, would be great to know if its possible...maybe for free projects...Discreet would not make noise....
I noticed you using the gamepack for Flight Simulator 2004, so it probably has bones export (awesome if it does anyway). I'm surprised the gamepack is available for download without butyng Flight Simulator, but tis nice it is. I'll have to try this out.
