Post by cmoibenlepro »

Did someone try GameSpace Light?

It's new, free, and it has .x export :) but it has a limit of 700 poly :(

I'm downloading it...

indeed, is I think...650 for characters...5000 for scenery, objects...I think.

Quite limited. Still, good for very low poly games.

For objects, is a way to go..why? because is DAMN easy interface, it has very advanced modelling. Imho Wings is too many times superior, but Wings does not export as x, and I see where people get lost is in conversions and using converters and fixer utilities...

If I remember well, it has even metaball modelling, spline modelling, lots of poygon type of modelling, etc.

I don't know if exports weighte animated characters, but does not matter, as is limited to 600 tris, and also, it has no good weighting system (not even his big brother, TS 6.6, ha sthis solved) as it uses tendos and muscles, a type of envelope influence thing, but not careful per vetex weighting like Blender and character Fx have. (and of course, Max, Maya)
Finally making games again!
