hey,
i have the following problem:
if I create a model in cinema4D, export it as OBJ and load it to IrrEdit, there are problems with the light / shadows.
Look at the Screenshot: the model on cinema4d (right) is lighted correctly, you on some places its darker than on others. But in IrrEdit (left) the model has the same color everywhere, so you cant see edges or a structure in the model.

Why is it like this?
Lighting is enabled, I don't know, what I should do that it works correctly...
Thanks
D.
Now shadows on a model
Presumably you do have a light in your scene... though if you didn't and you had enabled lighting you'd just get a black mesh instead...
So maybe the normals haven't been exported properly... In that case there wouldn't be anything you could do to fix it in irrEdit but in irrlicht you could recalculate the normals using the mesh manipulator.
