centering issues

Post by 3DModelerMan »

Wich file format exported from blender have you found to retain the position of it's center, 3ds recenters it, obj recenters it also. I have a sword model that I load onto my character, and the center in blender is at the handle.
Thanks :D .

Oh really?. Thanks for the tip, all the stuff I've been doing with B3D so far has'nt shown me that, but I've only done a simple character so far. That should be perfect, I'll just switch to vert colors.
Thanks :D .

You should export your all your models centered in the world, That's the best way to export them properly, and is the least problematic.
