Slot machine graphics

Post by Buck1000 »

Can someone point me to some good slot machine graphics? Specifically the reels? I've been looking for awhile now, and havn't found any.

I'm planning on having three strips of (4 or 5?) symbols each. These would then be moved up and down, and hidden. The only displayed part of them would be they're center. Then, as they are shifted up and down, the visible part would appear to rotate. I can't really describe this too well...

But yeah. Just some realistic strips with slot machine symbols would be cool.

Thanks :D

Hi. A good way to fool the user would be to use a 3D slot machine, or really good 2D slot machine, and use an image with all of the symbols on it.

You'd then load each image using a rect and when the hammer is pulled, the images change, along with their values.

Possibly in between each symbol in a turn, you could put a quick blurry symbol to simulate the motion blur.

Other than that, I dunno. Sorry.
