Battle Chess from the oooold apple

Post by Endar »

Hey guys, take a look at this link. Its got a whole heap of games from the old apple IIGS.

I played battle chess. It played a pretty dumb game, but it was fun.

Wow cool! This reminds me of my good old Apple ][+ on wich I learned programming basic and assembler back in 1985. I was was playing games like Karateka and Zenith on it. Zenith was kind of a 3D shooter already, check it out! (Slot 6) :)

Actually, I had my very first computer experiences with the Sinclair ZX81, but I'm not sure if you can really call that thing a computer.. :)

(btw. You can also play Wolfenstein 3D with the Apple emulator. Slot 7)

sweet I used to be a hard core apple fan. I still really enjoy a PowerMac G4 but my Athlon 3200+ with 1GB ram seems to be a tad faster. :D If only I could be my hands on one of those dual G5 and Maya 6 for the mac.
