[solved] virtual surround sound

i have 2 external speakers, that i would like to use for an almost surround sound, i also have 2 audio ports on my comp that i can plug in speakers, so i was wondering if there is a way i could make left left audio channel go out to one speaker, and the right to the other?

Im using windows vista
dell inspiron 1420
4gb ram
2.1 ghz dual core
NVIDIA geforce 8400M
SigmaTel High Definition Audio

Nevermind, i slightly cheated, and just moved both "Right" speakers to the right side of the room, and both "Left" speakers to the left side of the room. works well enough
