Vista, is this a problem?

Hey,

I'm running Vista 32-bit and it seems I have a few compatibility issues or something similar as most of the examples I downloaded from the forums tend to get fatal errors and I have difficulty finding files sometimes, is this just because I'm new to using Express Edition 2008 or is Vista not recommended? Just asking

I'm using Vista and VC++2008 express as well, I have no problems with irrlicht and those examples. What are your problems?

not sure what your problem is, but im using vista 32-bit, and all the examples i have used work fine so far

Could you post a record of the errors?

Visual Studio (and programming IDEs in general) tend to throw up at the slightest provocation. But usually the problems are fixable

And hey, you aren't FaTaL_N00B from Ultimate3D, are you?
