Hi there, would it be possible for irrlicht to render like the same quality as shown below?

i don't see anything special used in that shot at all. it's all about your art assets, the quality of your models and textures.

But why don't I see any good irrlicht renders in the irrlicht showcase?

I cant find any other good results on the net too... With for example ogre3d I can.

You are making a fatal mistake in your logic. Irrlicht is capable of great stuff. Unfortunately, as has been said previously, most people that use Irrlicht are programs and not artists. Generally programmer art is not something one wants to behold for very long. It isn't about what Irrlicht can do, it's about what you can do.

I'll second that motion. Many teams (like mine) have programmers, but not experienced graphical artists.

Basically, Irrlicht can do anything you see in Deadspace if you have the right artists and FX programmers. Deadspace is all DX9.
