Seeking new Anti Virus Program

Post by Alpha Omega »

Hello,

I have been using Norton Interenet Security for 2 years 2008 and 2009 and my subscription just ran out. I wasn't very impressed by it. I never had a virus but it did waste a lot of resources. Anyone have any suggestions for a new anti virus? I am on Windows Vista. Anyone know how Vista's antivirus and firewall hold up, I have never tried either.

Take a look at Avast. I switched from Norton to that a couple of years ago and have had no problems except for faster running machines.

iv used a number of them and avast is the best too. its also nice and cheap for the pro but the home addition is free and fully featured. Never looked back, never had a virus (id safely say 4 years of avast)

On Windows I used AVG, it's not the best virus protection but it's free.
