Blender has a game engine. Never thought much about it but looked at a book on the engine a few days ago. I was told that it supports physics, collision detection, interacting all in realtime, and NO programming required (their words) I am not the best at programming ( took me a few years to get c++) Here is my question what are any advantages to using irrlicht over Blender's game engine if any?

Afaik you will still need programming (python) when dealing with a more complex game play. the logic bricks are only for simpler gameplay.
By using irrlicht you can take control of how you want your game to work. But it depends on everyone's choice, really. If you're a pure programmer then of course Irrlicht suits you the most, while on the other hand if you extremely hate programming why bother about it?
by the way Irrlicht is more to graphic engine while BGE is a game engine. Hardly compare.

Thanks, I was just trying to see if i could get away without so much programming. trying to make objects move in realtime skeletal animation is a bit hard for me. don't have a clue how to proceed. Seeing that i am confortable with Blender i thought that might be the best way to go. Plus my project owuld not be more than Blender GE could handle, I don't think
Wishful thinking i guess
PS i wasn't comparing them exactly those are my two choices that's why i asked
