I didn't see a tutorial for lightmaping, I see it in irredit and other tools. They seem to duplicate the mesh and save it out in another format. Then make some lightmaping file I'm not sure how to apply. I'm also trying to figure out how to add a normal map to something say lightmaped in giles (does it lump everything into one mesh (node?)
Hey, thanks! I think I made a good decision. Giles exports in 3ds though, and (although I haven't checked) I don't think the q3 mesh loader can load that. I guess I'll poke around for the class that handles lightmaping.
