Screenshot of the Month November [Winner announced!]

Post by hybrid »

Indeed, time is really up. We have a winner. And this month we have a very unobstrusive, but nevertheless very unique winner. It is andres with his GrassSceneNode. Congratulations :!:
Submissions for December are already open, so keep on posting your shots.

gee tecan, thats a huge image without a small area of interest. It would be better if it were cropped to a relevant size!

Both look cool so far!

I have another project I'm working on... I don't know if it's going to be ready for a screenshot this month though. It will be called "The Last Militia".
That would be illogical captain...

I just noticed your screenshot for the last competition seems to have vanished... does imageshack maybe keep pictures only for a few weeks?

I don't know I've got some pretty old ones on there. Maybe I forgot to log in.

Nice looking HUD but the lighting looks wrong... Surely the shading should be similar on both parts of the HUD rather than the light appearing to between the two?

First screenshot the gun in the lower left corner...
We're programmers. Programmers are, in their hearts, architects, and the first thing they want to do when they get to a site is to bulldoze the place flat and build something grand. We're not excited by renovation:tinkering, improving, planting flower beds.

Hey andres are you going to release that grass scene node? It looks like just what I need.

that grass looks pretty amazing. How did you get all the nodes with alpha without getting artefacts?

(and, as 3DModelerMan asked - are you planning on releasing it?)
