Used both Spark2 from Juff (http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/forum/v ... =6&t=35754) and ghostTrailSceneNode from Mel (http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/forum/v ... 1&p=272700)

Looks cool! :)

That reminds me of my "irresponsible particles" test i did on a past application i was working on some time ago.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZS2amg8So0

Each "explosion" spawned 1000 particles each (or 2000, i don't remember...) or so :)

Hi, Mel. Is parallax use the normal of a face do to the effect? I was thinking this was easy since it's used the normal of a face to do it.

Sherlock Holmes and the case of the sewers? Holmes is in the public domain too, you could legally make that game.

Yep, it is an effect dependant on the tangent space, you need tangent vertices to do it

@Escen

Just saw your Render engine video as well, it looks pretty sweet! What platforms are you targeting for it?

@Escen

#sadpanda :(

Since you're using some free/libre open-source frameworks like Bullet and Qt, would you at least consider GNU/Linux? Then I'd be able to use it! :D
