Irrlicht is a work in progress. Check the development state in the main page to see what it's still missing.

It's hoped to be "stable" when it reaches V1.0

i know that irrlicht is in development

that's why I,m asking if 0.7 is stable to work, development state is allmost complete but not updatet after 0.7 relese

Well, then yes, it's stable. Just check out all the projects, games and apps that are being developed with it. Download and try some of them to see if they fulfill your expectations. There is almost nothing you can't do with the engine, and if a feature is missing it might be added in with some coding (i.e., sound, physics, networking, etc).

Another good idea would be to try out Irrlicht NX which has got patches from some of the best users-programmers in the forums. Most of these will be included in future official releases.
