Reincarnations: Uncover the Past released

Post by kvakvs »

Hello everyone,
I'm here to announce release of our 2D casual hidden object adventure game, Reincarnations: Uncover the Past, which is available on http://bigfishgames.com as Collector's Edition since today, and in 2 weeks standard edition will follow.

See intro video, few screen shots and download free 1 hour of gameplay here:
http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-ga ... collectors

The game is made using:
* Irrlicht DirectX8 driver as renderer, with minor modifications, related to mouse cursor handling and added support of DXT compressed textures (source for that I have posted in Advanced Help forum)
* Irrklang as sound
* Python 2.6 Stackless as scripting language
* SPARK for particle engine, also I've created GUI editor for SPARK, its announced on SPARK forums, if you were interested.

Right now I'm working on MacOSX port of the game.

Oh wow. This artwork is incredible. I didn't test the demo, so my impression of the gameplay is limited. But from what I could see in the video it's definitely meeting the expectations, probably even more. Congratualtions, this is extraordinary work.

Hey! Nice one! I really like this kind of games. Already played a few of Big Fish games. Tell us more about the dev team. And don`t forget to post in "Screenie of the month". :wink:

Go-go-go! Irrlicht-rendered-games!!! :D

Edit: Managed to open the curtain room. The only problem I had was that I didn`t know some of the names of the items. X)

Easily one of the (if not the) most professional project shown to date. Very nice work :lol: I'll have to try out that demo
