Project management software

Post by kazymjir »

Hello,

I would ask you for good and free project management software.
It should be good for small, one-person or two-person projects. Progress bars, deadlines, something like that.
I used before DotProject, but I do not like it well. It don't must be via www like DotProject (desktop app will be even better).

Thanks in advance!

You could use spreadsheet application like OpenOffice calc and put the spreadsheet under a version control system like svn. I've worked in several software companies which were doing just that (although they all used excel). It's a little more work to create the spreadsheets, but after that you have the full control of what you need.

CuteAlien, I don't like this method, too much work and too much mess. I like to manage my time and other stuff automatically, so I need software. But thanks for help!

xDan, Task Coach look be perfect for my needs, thank you!

EDIT:

Task Coach is awesome, my work is now incredibly more organized than before, whole projects now look much easier!
