With which tool is better animate a 3d character?

Post by Burns »

Hi. I want to know which tool is best to animate a character; 3D max studio or MilkShape3d. Also which is easier to use, for the creation of games, many people say that 3d max is easier...

Okay... you want to compare 3DS Max and Milkshape?
Max has Milkshape, as Milkshake for Breakfast!
Max is waaaayyyy better! :D

You could start with a price comparison - Milkshape 25$, 3DS Max ~3500$.

edit: Although the UI is very different, the basic mechanisms of how modeling works are very similar across different tools. So for learning to model you can use nearly any modeling tool. Many people here use Blender which is even completely free.
