CCD Surgeon is an Irrlicht based tool to denoise video generated by ccd's. It uses the GPU for a fast denoise that does not destroy detail! It does its job using a combination of special image kernel and frame to frame analysis.
Something similar to expensive commercial software except on the GPU! so ultra fast, see Magic Bullet for the compettion
