New website and some downtime

Hi all

I'm replacing the html on the home page with Wordpress, so there might be a little downtime. It will also look a bit ugly until Yoran has fixed my horrible CSS, and some stuff will be missing. The old html will live here until it's been transitioned across.

This should be complete within the hour.

I like the new website. Just 2 things I noticed:
1. It always seems to load another version (mobile maybe?) of the website first - displays that for a moment and only afterwards shows the real main-page. Happens on every reload, but vanishes always too fast for me to make a screenshot.
2. It seems the link to the real sourceforge-page has vanished (http://sourceforge.net/projects/irrlicht/). Or maybe I'm just not seeing it right now. I think that one is pretty important, at least for me it is one of the 3 links I click all the time (the others two are forum and API).

More info about that effect where the website looks different for a few frames. It only happens on Linux (Firefox 9.0.1) and looks like this:



Maybe the menu simply loads later, although I have no idea why I don't get the same effect on Windows.

It also happens on my one Win 7 rig, only occasionally though, and quite fast. Just the CSS Form that loads last. Wonder why It wouldn't load first though?

Ok, Yoran has added the SF project page again. And he even knew why my website was displayed wrong for a moment - seems at some time in the past a younger me has messed with nglayout.initialpaint.delay in Firefox about:config on Linux :-)
