blender 2.5 exporting X file format silly normals.
Im using blender 2.5, I export model to X format, then I turn on lighting (in irrlicht 1.6.1) and model is all white and then I turned on normals view and I noticed all normals were stacked on an invisible stick, he heh... anyone run into this problem? I will try later with blender 2.49...

Try investigate the model and its normals in blender editmode
try recalculate normals and also in object mode apply scale.
x format export in 2.5 is working:)

yup, something is wonky with your model. (Tried exporting a ridiciolously high poly model, all normals came out fine)
"this is not the bottleneck you are looking for"

Thanks for reply. Applying scale and rotate did the trick! Normals are in correct place, but I still have problem with lighting. Under dynamic lighting, model is either burned white or shaded dark.

Texture color is like completely lost. Im trying to make it light like in the daylight. Other format models look better (3ds and b3d). Can this be fixed by setting values for material diffuse/specular values?

Make sure to set NORMALIZE_NORMALS and check the light material values (emissive, specular, etc.)
