If I am right...

If I am right you can't use 3DS animations with Irrlicht, instead export it to the X format. Those animations are supported.
Umm, don't look at me that way. I'M not the dead one here.

TNX TNX TNX!!!!! Here's Wat I did and it's cool!

1). I MADE THE MODEL UNDER "3DS-MAX"
EXPORT IT AS "3DS" FILE.

2). IMPORT THE "3DS" FILE UNDER "MILKSHAPE"
DID THE ANIMATION KEY UNDER MILKSHAPE
THE "JOINTS" ARE COOL & EASY TO USE, UNDER MILKSHAPE

3). EXPORTE THE ANIMATED MESH TEXTURED FILE TO
"DirectX 8.0 File" TO PRODUCE AN X FILE

4). LOAD THE X File under IRRLICHT
Using the SetKeyFrame() I CAN EASILY CALL
ANY ANIMATION SEQUENCE.

:D COOL GUYS!!!! TNX FOR ALL THE HELP...................

:P LOL

Im Inquiring regarding IRRLICHT not DARKBASIC
Please READ ABOVE... hehe ( CANT U READ )

Beside IRRLICHT is open source and very flexible
unlike DARKBASIC for me is it's very SLOW.
and very poor primitive scripting syntax. :x

OR MAYBE U SHOULD POST THAT ON DARKBASIC FORUM
NOT HERE @ IRRLICHT FORUM.

Sure

Just grab the node and attach an animation to it, or just rotate the node via matrix/setRotation

(Check IAnimatedMeshSceneNode for details)

thenks Munku, i see how to set the animation loops but do you have a link for the matrix/setRotation thingy?
what i am trying to do is load an object in a single 3ds file and rotate it with a script program. i just want to bypass the X file conversion
