Screenshots for Irrlicht

I think someone should take the time and collect the best screenshots of irrlicht, there are a plenty inside competitions, and there are a lot of games using irrlicht with very nice graphics (just thinking to superTuxKart that I just saw on new projects and have very nice screenshots). Someone entering the homepage for the first time should see those games and also the screenshots on the Sourceforge project page should be updated. Maybe we do not still have a official demo, but good screenshots impact users much more than a features list. (I know a similiar discussion may exist already, but maybe since now there's too much focus on developing we lost some focus on "advertising").

HI! I agree! how would one go about advertising Irrlicht?
I've got some cool screenshots, but most of the models are from existing games which might be a problem.
I have a few opensource cool things and objects I designed myself.
How would I present them to whoever does the advertising?

I can generate an infinite amount of screen shots of landscape and planets.

Assets I can't help though.

I was under the impression many of the competition photos were hosted on sites that no longer host those images. ImageShack, for example, became a paid service a few years ago and booted alot of stuff. That's not to say we can't find recent photos, but we should probably find a reliable image host, no?

Hm, your sourcefore image service where we hosted monthly winners had been down for a while. But seems to be up again. Aside from that I'd be glad if homepage would be more up-to-date. Just don't want to do it myself.

Thanks: I personally like these: looking at them one can really get an idea of how amazing irrlicht is. (do not misunderstand me, I like all screenshots, just selecting here the few most spectacular wich also gives some variety)

@chronologicaldot: I'd be glad if someone cared about the homepage and does stuff like updating galleries. Just isn't going to be me... if anyone is interested in updating it please contact me (should obviously be someone who has been active here a while already so we kinda know is someone who takes is serious).

I could volunteer for it but I'm likely not an optimal candidate - what with me not showing up for months at a time. (to be fair I don't think an update is required more than once per quarter anyway - if even that).

On that matter, I'm probably not even optimal on the grounds of never submitting anything interesting anyway.
But that's my pseudo-formal suggestion for someone who could do it.

Yes, I'm not exactly a webdesign genius but I run my own site using wordpress and know html, css, and a bit of php. (also databases but that's entirely irrelevant)
