Ok guys, after playing around with the Engine and reading everyone's posts I've finally classified Irrlicht's fans into separate categories.

which one do you fit in?

they all together make this engine so tasty!

Have to go with a little of everything here myself, it will be interesting to know what categories everyone in the Irrlicht Community fits into :)

yup, sometimes it's a mix of things, but just vote for the one you feel the most attracted to; or better said, the one you invest the most time and effort when using Irrlicht

it shall end up being an interesting exercise

When using Irrlicht won't most people be programming graphics?

I do a little of everything with exception to graphics really, I just rarely achieve the effect I was trying to. Although my music knowledge is next to nil I did code the entire sound engine for my last project which had ogg streaming / fading / instant switching in OpenAL. Haven't really touched network programming since leaving VB and physics is too hard for me :(. Writing UI components is quite a nice distraction from having to do main parts of the project.

I mostly worked with the game logic part so far, though I have done my own scripting engine too in the process (btw, you forgot scripting from the list :? heh!). I'd say I know a bit about AI too, I take great delight in reading about AI systems and wondering how could I improve them or implement some neat tricks into my game.
I guess I know a bit about physics too, but I'm not good in that field - mostly thanks to my lack of studies in this part (downside of economics-field schooling).
UI programming - hmm. I never programmed my very own UI interface down to DX or OGL calls, I always used something between - either the Quake2 renderer or OGRE. However I do like to make my own UI based on those. :)
