how do i configure my compiler for irrlicht??

visual c++ (microsoft)

There should be a tutorial for Visual Studio on the home page (just click tutorials). Its close enough.

umm theres a problem with that..(i did look at it already)

version 2?

theres a bug in beta 2 that you don't get any dialog boxes to edit the paths. you have to do it manually.
