best/easiest way to import 3ds files?

what is the most easy and best wey to import files created with 3ds max 7 with the textures?

desperate.... please give the full c++ code.

Export it to 3ds and load it into Irlicht....

Hehe, nice one Midnight..
Still Acki, I think you're to hard on him.
If he wants to load an animation like for a descent game (didn't think of that, now did you ?) it's not quite as simple since irrlight cannot animate .3ds files. You should convert to .X

I remember you misterface, you already had a thread dealing with 3ds max loading, I thought you were through this, specify your trouble more, only this way you will get help... btw, don't make a new thread if the previous one dealing with the same problem exists....
