Youth in here

Post by campino »

hi,
After reading a little bit I think there are lot of young people (between 0 and 18 ) in here. Is it only a hallucination?

So, youth, if you are there, say hello (or something like that).

;)) you are too old ;))

In another forum (http:\\www.java-forum.net, german) all User under 20 put a note in their signatur which say something like "16-years old" (or so). I think it is a quite good idea and starting by place a note in my sig here. If you want to you can do so also.

FlyHigh:
maybe you can choose something like "Forums Grandfather" ;)

You don't have too if you don't want to.

*ähm* how many 'o' in to?

As you can see I didn't put my age there, only this "Youth-Irrlicht-Coder" so nobody know exactly what it mean.

And, last but not least, I don't think nobody will take you seriously anymore. As I write we do it in this german forum and I never get the impression somebody isn't taken seriously because of his age. I (and I think lots of people do so) didn't read the signature normally, so the most people didn't notice it. And people normally FIRST read what you say and THAN read your signature, so, they get your age when they have read what you say (and maybe have seen that you are right).

I don't think people care that much about age. It's all about attitude.

I'm old enough to have kids, but i've been very careful 8-)

If there had been something like irrlicht around when I was a teenager, I would have been into it. Full of enthusiasm and totally lacking patience like most of the teenagers in here 8-)

Yeah, there are some youngin's in here. But their coding abilities match or exceed many people triple their age in several cases. Then again, there are a lot of Hello World 16 year olds in here too... lol. So it balances out nicely.

@ Unarekin:
@ cpprules: But I want Subzero!
