multi bype language support on version 0.12?

Did anyone get the multi-byte language edit box working for version 0.12? I am looking for irrlicht enhancement to support Korean, Japanese and Chinese TT fonts. I saw a post way back:

But I am not able to get it to work with version 0.12. Any pointer will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I wish irrlicht version 0.13 will support this

I wonder if niko has merge any support for multibyte language fonts such as Korean, Japanese, & Chinese ?

I wish an official version of irrlicht that has done that!
