Typically, what I do is use the 'print screen' button on my keyboard. This will save the current screen image in your clipboard. Then open up a program like MSPaint, PhotoShop or Paint Shop Pro, and 'Paste' the image into a new file. Sometimes simply choosing 'paste' without an image file open will create a new file of the appropriate size for you.
