First of all, you don't JUST need Vista to install it. You can only upgrade from Vista. Meaning, if you have XP, you have to do the clean install option.

Its virtually bug less and I use it as my main OS on my development computer, after seeing the beauty and power of Windows 7, I trust it with all ...

Licensing question

So let me get this straight. I can release libraries, since that is not source correct? I want to be able to sell the engine on my own terms. But I want to be able to sell the full source for commercial use type thing. Once they buy the source its under zlib for them? So I can still charge for it?

Commercial Use

Now I know that the zlib license allows for commercial use... But could I create an engine based off Irrlicht then license it? Like do I HAVE to use zlib for everything?

Of course I will credit the JPEG Group and Irrlicht. :D

I will post some screen shots and more later. If anyone wants me to test anything in specific just let me know and ill see what I ...

Thanks a bunch!

My solution is just going to be to model the terrain and export as .b3d. This way I can support multiple texture layers the are seamless like ChristianClavet said.

Thank you for the help!

For somereason, it seems like you class is not compatible with linking to the latest version of opencv. Are there any license restrictions on this? Can you also update the original post with your latest build, I found a higher on while searching google, but the link was dead.

If you dont mind, a ...

Low texture res in game

Hello, I have created a .obj terrain model and am loading it along with a 4096x4096 texture. I am going for the BEST quality out of my detail map. I'm using incredibly high res textures stored into an incredibly high res detail map, but when loaded onto my .OBJ in game, the detail map has poorer ...
